Project Description

The Urban Routes project concentrated on thoroughly testing and ensuring the quality of the car-sharing feature in the Urban Routes web application. This testing effort covered various aspects, including UI testing to ensure the interface adhered to Figma designs, comprehensive payment form testing, and designing and executing both positive and negative functionality test cases. Additionally, the project involved careful requirement analysis to ensure complete coverage, the application of equivalence class and boundary value analysis techniques to optimize test coverage, and the effective documentation and tracking of issues using Jira. This multifaceted approach ensured a robust and reliable car-sharing feature in the application.

Testing Process

1. Browser Testing
   • Ensure the latest browser versions.
   • Set the desired screen resolution.
   • Clear cache and cookies.
   • Perform tests and document results.
2. UI Testing Based on Figma
   • Compare fonts and colors.
   • Check element alignment.
   • Review responsiveness.
   • Document discrepancies.
3. Payment Form Testing
   • Test with valid and invalid inputs.
   • Test edge cases.
   • Test equivalence classes of data.
   • Document issues.
4. Functionality Test Cases
   • Design positive and negative test cases.
   • Run and document tests.
5. Bug Reports in Jira
   • Write a concise title.
   • Describe the bug and the steps to reproduce it.
   • Attach visuals if possible.
   • Label, assign, and indicate bug severity.
